The Christmas anticipation in Klaipėda begins on the evening of November 30th at 5 PM in the Theatre Square.
The theme for this festive season – “Klaipėda – the Christmas Lighthouse” – will serve as the connecting thread for the entire holiday performance. Santa Claus will not only fix the broken lighthouse signal but will also receive help in the form of warm thoughts and wishes from well-known Klaipėda residents.
The magical Christmas lighting event will be enriched with musical gifts from:
- Justinas Jarutis
- Paulina Paukštytė
- Vilius Popendikis
- The vocal ensemble “Vocalis” from the Jeronimas Kačinskas Music School in Klaipėda
According to the organizers, the public institution “Klaipėdos šventės,” there are even more musical surprises in store. A special musical guest will make an appearance during the festive evening, but their identity will remain a secret until the event itself.
The Christmas tree lighting ceremony will be broadcast live starting at 5 PM on the Facebook pages of “Klaipėdos šventės,” Klaipėda City Municipality, “Kultūros uostas,” and on many of the country’s most popular online platforms. The live broadcast will also be translated into sign language.
Please note that the event will be filmed and photographed, and captured moments will be shared on the social media channels of “Klaipėdos šventės.”
