Klaipėda City Municipality Administration Education Department initiative 2022 The project “Klaipėda History Signs” was launched to celebrate the 770th anniversary of Klaipėda city; 300 pupils from 14 schools in the city took part. The project was coordinated by the Klaipėda Pupils’ Self-Expression Centre, and the project partners were the Museum of the History of Lithuania Minor and the Klaipėda Vocational Training Centre of Ernests Galvanauskas.
In the spring, the ceramic panels created by the students depicting the history of our city were exhibited at the Blacksmith Museum and are now on the wall next to the museum. We are delighted that 200 works of art by students will decorate the Old Town of Klaipėda.
