Based on Marguerite Duras’ MUSIC 2 This play tells the story of a couple whose paths have diverged, reunited after three years. Their intimate conversation immerses both the audience and the characters in the memories of their life together, their ongoing passions and their boundless longing. By revisiting the experiences of the characters, the play invites us to rethink our personal relationships, to look at them from the outside and to reassess the fragility of close relationships and the danger of getting stuck in a maze of resentments or unfulfilled expectations.

“In this play, the main characters are trying to find answers to their concerns, trying to “let go” of each other, but at the same time, unconsciously, they are longing to get back what they have lost. They find themselves in a kind of in-between state that prevents them from moving forward. As a theatre maker, I understand that many people have experienced this state, so I think it is worth talking about it, and I think it is interesting for us as theatre makers to explore it more closely on the theatre stage.” This sensitive story on the eve of Valentine’s Day will be a special gift for Klaipėda audiences. It is an opportunity not only to see a love story, but also to delve into deep, sometimes contradictory human feelings. The performance invites you to celebrate not only love, but also a sincere dialogue – with yourself, with other people and with memories of the past.
