23 July 2025, 18:00 Agota Zdanavičiūtė and Kristijonas Lučinskas’ concert “Gyvasčia” will take place at the Giruliai Branch of the Immanuel Kant Public Library of Klaipėda City Municipality (Šlaito g. 10A) on 20/20/2020. From the series of events “Walk to Giruliai”.
This duo of two authors includes poems by Vladas Braziūnas, laureate of the Lithuanian National Culture Prize, and poet Stasė Lygutaitė-Bucevičienė, which Agota Zdanavičiūtė turned into songs, and Kristijonas Lučinskas arranged them with the sounds of the birbyna and electronics. The compositions also feature traditional 12-stringed cancellos and instrumental improvisations on them and the birbyna. The performance immerses the listener in a mysterious medium where new experiences can be discovered.
This concert is like a journey into a mysterious medium where memories and new experiences intertwine. It is music that invites you to close your eyes and let go into your own imaginative world.
Each consonant accompanies the listener deeper and deeper, until finally we all meet here, where we started our journey.
