Celebrating the 100th anniversary of Lithuanian Ballet and the 18th birthday of the dance school “Coda”
Klaipėda State Music Theatre will host an exclusive evening of dance miniatures – one of the most anticipated events of the year, full of elegance, sensuality and spectacular performances. This special evening is presented by the Coda Dance School, celebrating its 18th birthday, and the event is also dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the Lithuanian Ballet – an occasion that reminds us of the roots, the history and the vibrant present of the country’s stage dance.
The stage will be filled with the most creative and talented students of the Coda Dance School, former dancers of the school, as well as professional ballet dancers from Lithuanian theatres. The audience will see spectacular classical, contemporary and vertical dance compositions, which will allow you to immerse yourself in the magic of dance and feel the true majesty of ballet.
It is more than a concert – it is a celebration where history and the present, experience and dreams meet. It is a tribute to the teachers, dancers, audience and the whole community that has been creating the art of ballet in Lithuania for 100 years and has been raising it in Klaipėda for 18 years with the most professional dance school “Coda”.
