Legendary German band Alphaville is coming to Lithuania with a spectacular anniversary tour to celebrate 40 years on stage! Founded in 1982, Alphaville became world-famous with cult hits such as “Forever Young”, “Big in Japan” and “Sounds Like a Melody”. Their music has become timeless and continues to captivate both loyal fans and a new generation of music lovers.

The band, famous for the immortal ballad “Forever Young”, immediately shot to the top of the popularity charts. Little did they know that this superhit would not only be played in every corner of the world and in the advertisements of banks and insurance companies, but would also become the soundtrack of dozens of films and TV series, and would be covered or used by the likes of Laura Branigan, Karel Gott, Jay-Z, One Direction and many other global music stars.
“It’s a compliment for us, but I don’t take it lightly. But sometimes there are interesting variations. For example, the song “Forever Young” has been reworked by Polish metal musicians with a female singer. It was weird. But for me it’s more interesting to see a project by fans of the band, who perform our songs themselves and put out collections of these recordings every couple of years. It’s a sign of great dedication”, says Marian Gold.

This unforgettable concert will be accompanied by special guests – the legendary Swedish band Secret Service! Formed in 1979, the band reached the height of their fame in the 1980s with songs such as “Flash in the Night”, “Ten O’Clock Postman” and “Oh Susie”. Their songs have become part of pop music history and are still in the hearts of many fans today. Secret Service combines a melodic pop sound with elements of electronic music and their tracks are instantly recognisable.
Both bands will be performing with live bands, so the audience will have the chance to hear their authentic, real sound. The concert will feature an impeccable light and sound show that will enhance the musical emotions and immerse you in a nostalgic yet lively atmosphere.
