As the festive concert series at Klaipėda Concert Hall gets underway, this evening presents a programme of masterful classical and contemporary sacred music. The concert brings together two of Lithuania’s greatest masters of music – pianist Mūza Rubackytė and conductor Modestas Pitrėnas, both laureates of the Lithuanian National Prize for Culture and Arts and internationally acclaimed artists who inspire audiences in Lithuania and beyond with their creativity.

Mūza Rubackytė, together with the Klaipėda Chamber Orchestra conducted by Modestas Pitrėnas, will perform Joseph Haydn’s virtuosic concerto and Franz Liszt’s passionate Malédiction, while the Aukuras Choir and the orchestra will reveal the lush and luminous sound of John Rutter’s Magnificat.
