Celebrating its tenth anniversary, the international theater festival “TheATRIUM” is treating city residents to a trilogy of free events. Each event is brought to the festival program by a different organization, and each helps us perceive this year’s “TheATRIUM” slogan—“We Will Grow Daisies in Our Own Garden”—in a different way: to view it from a distance, understand its figurative meaning, and ultimately embody it ourselves. We recommend “collecting” the entire trilogy.

The final event of the trilogy invites you to experience the phenomenon of slam poetry, which emerged from the cultural and artistic movement “Kultūrpolis,” revived last fall. The open and ever-growing community of creators, which has been meeting at the KKKC Exhibition Hall until now, will move to the Klaipėda Drama Theater for one evening. We invite you to come and bring your words: participate by reading your own work or join as listeners. This slam evening will also stand out for its theme—creators will prepare by reflecting on the festival’s slogan, exploring and interpreting the concepts of both the garden and the thorns. By actively becoming gardeners capable of defending the gardens of our hearts.
