Get ready for an unforgettable evening filled with powerful beats, top-notch musical talent, and the energy of authentic funk music straight from Amsterdam!
On stage, Louis B. Drenthe (bass guitar) and Ruben Drenthe (keyboards) come together—two highly respected and sought-after musicians from the Netherlands who rank among the international elite of professional musicians. Throughout their careers, they have performed and recorded alongside world-renowned artists such as Usher, Ledisi, Candy Dulfer, Akon, Kim Burrell, Maher Zain, Glennis Grace, Frank McComb, Hind, Brace, and many others. Their musical journey has taken them through prestigious recording studios, international tours, and the biggest stages in Europe and beyond. Musicians of this caliber rarely perform in Lithuania, so this is a unique opportunity to hear world-class professionals perform live.
Up next is the charismatic Irish soul and funk artist Curtis Millen. He is not only an excellent vocalist but also a true force on stage. Curtis is known for his incredible energy, infectious vibe, and ability to instantly draw the audience into a musical celebration. His performances blend the warmth of classic soul, the rhythms of modern funk, the energy of disco, and the pulse of contemporary dance music. Every concert becomes a true explosion of energy.
On drums is Kasparas Petkus, one of Lithuania’s most prominent drummers, who actively performs throughout Europe with various international projects and artists. A master’s graduate of the Amsterdam Conservatory, he has performed at prestigious festivals, including the North Sea Jazz Festival, ESNS, Jazzkaar, Celtic Connections, and many others—alongside world-renowned artists such as Candy Dulfer, Phillip Lassiter, Wojtek Pilichowski, Karl Frierson, Roseye, and TOS.
Sébastien is a guitarist and composer born in Belgium and based in Rotterdam who performs in various European countries and actively participates in international musical projects. His work blends elements of jazz, funk, Middle Eastern, Afro-Latin, and other world music traditions, and on stage he collaborates with performers from various countries. He is a member of the groups “Zaatar Quintet,” “Ghaeth Almaghoot Quintet,” “Curtis Millen,” and “Banda Matatu,” and has also performed with renowned musicians, including Yamandu Costa, Benjamin Herman, and others.
Together, these four musicians create an incredibly powerful musical force—an explosive blend of soul, funk, and R&B that combines world-class virtuosity, improvisation, and an unstoppable groove.
This isn’t the kind of concert you’ll be watching while seated.
This is a genuine, high-energy, top-notch funk party. Come ready to dance.
