As the Sea Festival approaches, three cargo-handling companies at the Port of Klaipėda will open their doors to Klaipėda residents and visitors alike, inviting them to take a closer look at their operations: Klaipėda Maritime Cargo Company “BEGA,” Klaipėda Container Terminal, UAB, and the international energy terminal operator “KN Energies.”

On July 23, we invite you to take advantage of this exclusive and free opportunity to view the “Independence”—a floating storage vessel and symbol of Lithuania’s energy independence—from the ferry, get a close-up view of the “Wind of Freedom” adorning the hull of the “Independence,” and learn more about the importance of the Klaipėda LNG terminal to the country’s energy security.

The tour of the LNG terminal will take place aboard the ferry “Klaipėda.” The ferry departs from the Old Ferry Terminal (1 Danės St., Klaipėda) on July 23 at 7:00 p.m. Please arrive at the ferry 10 minutes before the scheduled departure time.

The event is free of charge and is presented to the public by the Lithuanian Association of Stevedoring Companies and AB “KN Energies,” the operator of the Klaipėda LNG terminal.
