Ieva Dūdaitė, one of the country’s most famous pianists, has great news for her fans – in autumn she will embark on the biggest solo tour in Lithuania, during which she will visit 11 cities: Klaipėda, Birštonas, Ukmergė, Šiauliai, Utena, Jurbarkas, Telšiai, Kretinga, Panevėžys, Tauragė and Šilutė.
In the last year and a half, Ieva Dūdaitė has proved time and again that she is not afraid to step outside her comfort zone. She has presented her first work in which she sings as well as plays, tried her hand at the Muzikinė Kaukė project, and became the first pianist in the country’s history to have a solo arena tour.
On the eve of Pentecost, the pianist, who breaks the standards of the piano concert, organised a show “Piano Summer” in Palanga, where the programme of the historic “Grand Piano Show” tour was played. During the show, the pianist revealed to the audience that she will be embarking on a new tour in the autumn and will visit 11 cities.
“The Grand Piano Show was the fulfilment of my childhood dream, but it’s time for new challenges. In the autumn, I will be doing my biggest tour in Lithuania, visiting 11 cities and towns. With this tour I want to return to acoustic concerts, the intimate environment of smaller venues and to create a warm, real and personal connection with the audience”, says I. Dūdaitė.

During the acoustic tour, the pianist will play the luminous piano seen in the Grand Piano Show, which will create a romantic atmosphere, she will be accompanied by a cello, and the programme will include world-famous works and the author’s own compositions by I.Dūdaitė.
The pianist will start her tour on 28 October and finish it on 29 November, visiting 11 cities and towns in Lithuania – Klaipėda, Birštonas, Ukmergė, Šiauliai, Utena, Jurbarkas, Telšiai, Kretinga, Panevėžys, Tauragė and Šilutė – in a little more than a month.
