July 2, 2026, at 5:30 p.m. The Melnragė branch of the Klaipėda City Municipal Public Library (60 Molo St.) is hosting a solo digital art exhibition by Tomas Kregždė titled “(De)constructed Identity.” The exhibition will run until July 31, 2026.
The (De)construction of Visual Identity Through Photography, Color, and the Symbolism of the Body
The exhibition “Deconstructed Identity” invites us to look at a person without makeup, without masks, and without society’s filters—as they reveal themselves under pressure, in times of change, or amid inner chaos. This is an artistic exploration of how our bodies, faces, and even our behavior become not only the markers of our identity, but also constantly shifting, vulnerable, and sometimes distorted fragments of that identity.
Tomas Kregždė is a creator of visual poetry who has grown from everyday experiences into the vastness of the art world. His works are not merely aesthetic forms, but reflections of inner states, emotional journeys, and existential quests. Tomas is an artist who lives in and for his art, a man who seeks true beauty in his work: not a glittering surface, but a depth experienced through lived experience and emotion. His artistic expression testifies that true art springs from an authentic life—from the ability to love, to suffer, to make mistakes, and to rise again. Tomas is a traveler between worlds: between the visible and the invisible, between who we are today and who we can become.
Photography, filming and publicity may take place during the event.
