Starting August 6, the AP Gallery in Klaipėda, located in “Memel City,” invites you to an exhibition of paintings by artist Ugnė Mitigailaitė titled “Upside Down.” The exhibition features the artist’s latest works, which continue to explore themes of dreams, memory, and recurring imagery; however, this exhibition and its title offer a different perspective on the environment. “Upside Down” refers not so much to an inverted world as to a shifted perspective—that moment when ordinary reality begins to seem somewhat alien, playful, and not entirely explainable.
