On July 24, following its renovation, the “Energija” Gallery will open its doors to the public.

After 6 p.m., we’ll continue the opening night of Viltė Fuller’s exhibition “Žiotys” (curated by Justė Kostikovaitė) with music.

DJ sets will be performed by Egzotikka and Vitalij Lipo.

Egzotikka is a project by Osvaldas Bertašius. The Lithuanian artist, who recently returned from London, creates music that blends minimal wave, post-punk, coldwave, and lo-fi EBM. His music explores themes of the past, alienation, and distorted intimacy using analog equipment, “dusty” drum machines, tape hiss, and the artist’s own voice. Egzotikka collects vinyl records and plays DJ sets with them.
He also curates the label and radio show META MOTO, and has released music on “Detriti Records,” “Raw Culture,” and other labels. Both as a solo artist and in collaboration with other artists (his latest collaborative project is with Shaknimi).

Vitalij Lipo is one of the pioneers of the electronic culture scene in Klaipėda, whose creative journey is inextricably linked to the foundations of the port city’s industrial underground. Having started his career in the 2000s at illegal raves, he became the main creative and technical driving force around whom the production and creative company “Sound Engineers DJs” coalesced.
It was Vitalijus’s engineering approach to sound that reoriented the collective toward the “LIVE” performance format, where the “SE DJs” team, using the most advanced equipment of the time and live synthesis, brought vocalists and virtuosos of live instruments onto a shared platform. This evolution transformed standard DJ sets into live performances of the highest caliber. As the core of Sound Engineers DJs, Vitalijus went beyond the confines of radio station residencies and major Lithuanian clubs. Thanks to this collective dynamic, the internationally acclaimed single “Le Temps” (released by No Smoking Recordings), which was remixed by artists such as Ijo and Simuck, and spawned a whole series of hits: “Musica,” “Blind,” “Proteus,” “Ocean of Love,” and the conceptual revival of the legendary 1997 rave anthem “Kraujo zona.”
