This concert will bring together two distinct but organically complementary musical traditions: the contemporary aesthetics of pop music and the culture of academic choral singing. Vocalist Rūta MUR, with her emotionally charged and melodious work, together with the Klaipėda Choir Aukuras will present a new field of interpretation of her songs.

The programme will feature Rūta MUR’s original compositions reworked for choral composition – here the intimate vocal sound will merge with the rich choral texture, expanding the emotional range of the songs. This collaborative project offers an opportunity to hear familiar works from a new angle, emphasising their harmonic richness, textual sensitivity and rhythmic plasticity. The musical flow of the evening will create a contemporary, aesthetically pure and contemplative sound, revealing the synergy between the voices of both the choir and the soloist.
