From July 9–12, artist Urtė
Jasenka will open a performative drawing hut in a shipping container at the HOFO urban space.
Short drawing sessions will take place behind the window. Visitors are invited to sit in front of the booth and
pose for drawings lasting a few minutes. However, it is not just the external image that is captured here—the portraits become
intuitive interpretations of the inner world: reflections of nature, the inner animal, a dream, an invisible
companion, or other forms that are difficult to describe.
Each work is created by hand on paper specially produced for this project and is given to
the visitor who receives it. All project objects are created using recycled and reused
materials.
The container space will feature a sound design created by composer Antanas Jasenka.
