August 13, from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. We invite you to attend viewing sessions of the virtual reality experience “VR‘Kantu: Klaipėda’s History from a Different Angle” at the Immanuel Kant Public Library of the Klaipėda City Municipality (8 Turgaus St.).

“VR ‘Kant: The History of Klaipėda from a Different Perspective'” is the result of a digitization project undertaken by the Immanuel Kant Public Library of the Klaipėda City Municipality that lasted nearly 1.5 years.

Developed in collaboration with historians, tour guides, cultural heritage specialists, and education experts, this innovative audiovisual virtual reality experience offers a fresh perspective on the history, architecture, and cultural heritage of the city of Klaipėda.

The project aims not only to preserve historical memory but also to bring it up to date using modern technologies, so that the city’s history is engaging, understandable, and easily accessible to a wide range of audiences.

Up to 5 participants can take part in a single session. Registration is on an individual basis. During registration, you will be able to choose one of the available session times.
