On 16 August, the world celebrates International Homeless Animals’ Day (IHAD). On this day, events are held in countries all over the world to raise awareness of the problem of homeless animals. We are not able to celebrate with everyone this year, but the International Society for Animal Rights (ISAR), who invited us to be Lithuania’s representatives on the day, agreed that there is nothing wrong with dedicating an entire month to homeless animals. So we will celebrate this day on the last morning of summer. We would like to invite everyone to march with us for the world’s homeless animals.
YOUR TIME:
* A leisurely 3 km hike from the Old Smiltyne ferry to the pier;
* Dogs’ competitions;
* A treat for you;
* Prizes.
To make the walk not only fun but also meaningful, we invite you to make a symbolic donation to support homeless animals. You can do so by purchasing an event ticket, which will be the donation. You can also buy a ticket if you don’t know if you will be able to march, because your ticket is first and foremost a donation to those who don’t have the most important support in their lives – a host.
We are looking forward to seeing you all there!
