For nearly a decade, a festival of sung poetry, bards, poetry, and creative writing has been held at various locations in Klaipėda. In winter and summer, artists gather at either the White or the Green venues, and this year even at Marių Ošas. The festival doesn’t try to be flashy and often feels like a cozy, intimate concert among friends.

On July 18, starting at 5 p.m., “Žalias Ošas” will take place in the park of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences at Klaipėda University. For those who enjoy acoustic music and relaxing in nature, this event will leave a lasting impression.

The event is free, will take place outdoors, and is pet-friendly. You can set up tents on the lawn.

The festival is organized by the team at VšĮ Baltas sodas in collaboration with its partners at the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences at Klaipėda University.

The festival is partially funded by the Klaipėda City Municipality.
