Klaipėda’s talking sculptures

“Hey there! Point your nose up here!”, — in these words, the story of oneself begins with one of the eight Klaipėda’s talking sculptures. This line, in particular, is being said by “the fisherman”.

Klaipėda Tourism and Culture Information Center managed to get talking sculputres by implementing the “Tourism Innovations” program funded by the Ministry of Economy and Innovation.

“We chose the sculptures a little differently, we wanted our story to be told to the townspeople and guests of the city, which had not yet been discovered or somewhat forgotten.
We invite everyone to walk around the city safely, visit not only the Christmas tree, but also get acquainted with the city’s sculptures and learn their stories. We very much hope that these stories will attract people and we will be able to continue this -talking sculptures project. After all, it is so much fun not only “to discover”, but also “to hear”. Just don’t forget to bring your smartphone or other device, because in order for the sculpture to speak, you will need to scan the QR code. “
