The Grand Sea Festival Parade—one of the festival’s most important and eagerly anticipated events—will this year become a living movie scene, moving through the city from the first minute to the last. This year’s parade is inspired by the theme “Just Like in the Movies,” which will weave together unique stories—from maritime Hollywood and glamour worthy of a movie premiere to adventures at sea and legendary characters.
Route: Start – J. Janonio St., Herkaus Manto St., Naujojo Sodo St., Naujoji Uosto St., Pilies Bridge, Pilies St. to the Cruise Ship Terminal. Introduction of the parade participants – behind Pilies Bridge.

Inspired by this year’s theme, “Like in a Movie,” this spectacle of water, lights, music, and visuals invites you to view life as if it were a movie. Filled with vivid scenes, unexpected twists, love, laughter, silence, and memories—life offers each of us a unique script that encompasses entire genres, emotions, and stories.
From childhood adventures to reflections on adulthood, from our first dreams to life’s most meaningful moments—each of our stories deserves the big screen. Perhaps an invisible director quietly accompanies each of us on our journey, weaving together scenes, encounters, and destinies into a single, unique story? This is an evening about all of us.
A striking circular screen structure will serve as a special highlight of the Sea Festival’s set design in the Jonų Hill area; the scaffolding needed to install it is being donated to the festival by its major partner, RNDV.
The structure will be 42.5 m long along its radius, 10 m high, and 7.5 m wide. This is a complex technical and logistical undertaking, and its implementation in the city center requires extremely precise preparation, as well as planning for installation, safety, and dismantling, taking into account the limited space and large crowds of festival visitors.

Dig through your closets, let your hair down, bring your good vibes, and let’s go! Disco is an extremely popular genre of dance music that blends elements of R&B, funk, soul, pop, and salsa, and rose to prominence in the mid-1980s through the early 1990s. Disco emerged as a response to the stagnation in dance music at the time and became one of the greatest inspirations for house music in the 1990s, which is now one of the dominant genres in dance music. Many hits from the disco era are being reimagined today—both as house-style remixes for dance clubs and as pop versions for radio broadcasts and the Spotify platform.
DJ Vladas has entertained audiences at the Klaipėda Sea Festival, Šiauliai Nights, and many other events, and has also performed at the “Roxy” club in Klaipėda, the “Oldman” club in Palanga, and the “Fontaine Palace” club in Liepāja. 7:30–8:30 p.m. THEATER . THE ABSURD COMEDY “On the High Seas” (based on the play by S. Mrożek).
The play takes place on a raft adrift at sea, where three people who have suffered a misfortune find themselves. As they try to decide “democratically” which one of them the others will eat, they get caught up in increasingly absurd arguments, manipulations, and demagoguery. The tension steadily rises, and the story builds toward an unexpected and terrifying climax. Polish playwright Slavomir Mrożek (1930–2013) is a classic of the theater of the absurd and one of the most prominent figures in 20th-century European drama. In his work, political satire, reflections on history, and the grotesque blend with paradox, humor, and fantasy. In 1968, his work was banned in Poland due to his critical stance toward Soviet politics.
Directed by Ugnė Daukšaitė; set and costume design by Gerda Dapkūnaitė and Eva Kavaliauskaitė; starring: The Big One – Simonas Lunevičius, The Middle One – Adomas Jakovlevas, The Little One – Džiugas Šveikauskas, Charon – Airida Česonytė. Running time: 1 hour.

10:30 p.m., 11:30 p.m., 12:30 a.m., 1:00 a.m. DANCING FOUNTAIN SHOW “LIFE LIKE IN A MOVIE.”
After a hiatus, one of the most spectacular events of the Sea Festival—the dancing fountain show—returns to Jono Hill. Inspired by this year’s theme, “Just Like in the Movies,” this spectacle of water, lights, music, and visuals invites you to view life as if it were a movie.
A striking circular screen structure will serve as a special highlight of the Sea Festival’s set design in the Jono Hill area; the scaffolding required for its installation is being provided as a gift to the festival by its major partner, RNDV.
